Product Information
With the Sony BDPS373, budget Blu-ray has never been better!
In terms of design, features and functionality, Sony have made some great improvements to their latest budget Blu-ray masterpiece. New to the BDPS370 is the option of connecting to the Internet wirelessly or via the traditional Ethernet cable. Simply add a wireless dongle and your BDPS370 can integrate with your home network and "talk" to other components in the DNLA enabled loop.
In conjunction with this there's full access to the BBC iPlayer and BRAVIA Internet Video for access to online video content such as YouTube. In short, there's much more you can do with a budget Blu-ray player than just playing Blu-rays and DVDs these days!
Got an iPhone or iPod Touch? Then you can take control of the BDPS373 with a special App and wireless dongle. Use the touch screen to view disc information or find YouTube video. Find out more about your Blu-ray discs by searching the Entertainment Database Browser using Gracenote technology.
For all the improvements in functionality, don't forget that the BDP-S373 is Blu-ray player - and a great one at that! Playback quality of all formats is every bit as good as you'd expect from a Sony with Sony's Precision Drive technology lending a hand to correct scratched or warped discs. As ever, the full 1080p output and HDMI interface give stunning levels of clarity and digital HD surround sound for an unparalleled cinema experience.
Thanks to Sony's Xross Media Bar, using the BDP-S373 is easy. With a boot up time of just 3 seconds and a 2 seconds tray eject, it's also quicker than ever loading up a film. BRAVIA Sync means that if you already have a Sony TV you can link to that for remote control integration.
